How are those even effective anymore? I bet it’s fun to drive that at night.

Does cleaning the headlights actually prevent yellowing? I thought it was caused by UV damage from the sun along with pitting from road gunk.

Can confirm
When we hit a deer with ours like 4 years back, it smashed the passenger side of our car.
So, we got a new passenger light, but the original yellowed driver light.
We wanted to replace it but man a decent oem one coats way too much.

Yeah, for some cars at some point its better to just buy new headlight cover assembly whatevers. ie., while my car isn’t as bad as that SUV all the cleaning I did had no effect.
